Purpose of Establishment

The Smart City Association aims to support the creation and expansion of smart cities. They achieve this by upholding well as facilitating the exchange of technology, information, and academic research related to smart cities. Their efforts life for urban citizens.

Act on Smart City Creation and Industry Promotion Article 24(2)

Main business

1. Gather and analyze data and information

related to smart cities.


2. Propose policies and systems improvement proposals for the development of smart cities.


3. Support matters related to international cooperation and overseas expansion support for smart cities.


4. Provide education and training for those related to smart cities.


5. Perform various consultations on smart city technology.


6. Work on support for smart city performance verification.


7. The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport has assigned a task to be completed.


8. Additional projects are required to accomplish

the goal of forming the association.
